Elite

The Cal Coast Elite program seeks to provide a development environment for post-collegiate runners who compete at the national level.  We provide a team focused training environment and resources to attend competitions for qualifying athletes.

Our athletes regularly attend USATF sanctioned road, track and cross-country competitions throughout the country in pursuit of a berth on a U.S. National Team.

Cal Coast Elites are readily identifiable in their Cal Coast Elite Team kit.

Team qualification is either as an Elite or Emerging Elite athlete.

Elite athletes qualify by meeting the 2019 Elite Performance Standards and are eligible to receive Cal Coast Elite Team kit, shoes, training apparel, race entry fees, and travel support.

Emerging Elite athletes must have the ability to compete in collegiate level Track & Field and Cross-Country meets and are eligible to receive entry fees, limited travel support and team racing singlet.
